Master of Construction Management

The Master of Construction Management (UMCM) is an interdisciplinary 36 credit program and open to graduates from Architecture, Engineering, and Construction related programs. The curriculum will broaden educational and career options for students. Formal knowledge and experience in project and construction management are highly sought after by architectural and engineering firms, construction companies and real estate developers.

Admission Requirements

The minimum admissions requirements for admission to the UMCM are:

  • Completion of undergraduate degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction related fields.
  • TOEFL/IELTS (for foreign students) as stated in the English Proficiency Requirements of the University of Miami. 
  • Three academic letters of recommendation
  • Official transcripts from undergraduate and/or graduate schools
  • Requirements
*Courses will be offered in the evenings and on weekends, to meet the needs of working professionals. The program will focus on current issues and events in construction management and address the needs of the industry by developing candidates for middle and upper management positions.*
